Compare laboratory quotations.
Put quoted costs and unanswered questions side by side.
Start with the same requirement
Use this worksheet for one equivalent item or pack across up to three vendor offers. Match the model, specification, pack size and quantity before comparing totals. Label vendors A, B and C if you prefer.
- Choose the currency used by every offer. ETB, USD and EUR are labels only; this tool does not convert currencies.
- Enter quantity and unit price. For each extra cost, select a separate quoted amount, included in the unit price, or confirmed not applicable. Leave anything unstated as unknown.
- Check each offer against your required specifications, documents and service terms. Follow up on missing evidence before making a decision.
Total = quantity × unit price + shipping + installation + training + tax + first-year consumables, using only separately quoted amounts. Do not count a bundled charge twice. Enter tax as a quoted amount, not a percentage. No fees or rates are assumed.
Enter plain non-negative numbers without currency symbols or thousands separators; quantity must be greater than zero. Values and totals are limited to 1 trillion. Totals round once to two decimal places. Blank or unknown costs keep the total incomplete.
Your entries stay in this page's browser memory. They are not sent or saved by the worksheet and are cleared on reload. Do not enter personal information. A downloaded CSV stays on your device until you delete it.
What to ask when an offer is incomplete
Specifications: Ask for the exact model or catalogue reference and evidence against your required performance, capacity, material, grade or pack size. Record any substitutions before marking the check confirmed.
Documentation: List the documents your purchase requires, such as a datasheet, manual, safety data sheet or certificate of analysis. Check that the documents refer to the offered product; a generic brochure may leave the requirement unanswered.
Service terms: Confirm delivery scope and timing, installation responsibilities, training scope, warranty exclusions, support arrangements and payment terms in writing. Clarify whether first-year consumables cover the same workload for each offer.
